RayCam offers licensed daycare for children aged 3 to 5 years in the neighborhood. We have two daycare rooms, Mountain and Lake, with enrollment capacity of 20 children each. Hours of care are 8am to 5pm on all days except statutory holidays. We are also closed for an additional 12 days during the year for professional development and staff training purposes.

WAITLIST POLICY & FEES
WAITLIST POLICY
The RayCam Childcare Programs’ waitlist does NOT operate on a first come first served basis. We consider all children on the waitlist to identify highest need. We assess a number of factors before enrolling a child in the program.
For example, does the child live in the neighborhood? Is there a referral from a health professional, school staff, or social worker? Is this child in need of childcare as a protective factor to reduce chances of removal from family or as part of a family reunification strategy? Is childcare an intervention to reduce vulnerabilities due to low income, such as food and housing insecurity? Is there staffing capacity to safely support the needs of the child? Waitlist is reviewed periodically, and parent/guardian will be contacted by the Childcare Supervisor if a spot becomes available.
CHILDCARE FEES
RayCam is a participating $10 a Day Centre.
Monthly fees:
Daycare: $200
Out-of-School Care (school year): $140
Out-of-School Care (July & August): $200
AFFORDABLE CHILDCARE BENEFIT
Families may be eligible for Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) through the Ministry of Education and Childcare. Information about eligibility and assistance (to fill out the application) can be found of ACCB’s website or by calling 1-888-338-6622. Translation services are available for 140+ languages through that number.
